    Step 4 - Part 2: Determining if the drink exceeds the ADI guideline for Blue #1

      Now that we have calculated the concentration of Blue #1 dye in our drink to be 2.2 x 10-6 M, we can determine if this exceeds the acceptable daily intake (ADI) of Blue #1 set by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives.
